To do:
I finally watched 1.21 of Agents of SHIELD. I have some definite thoughts on why the women are so fast to write Ward off while Fitz holds onto hope as long as possible, but I think I might save that for fic.
1.22 to come tonight (perhaps) while sewing.
Speaking of sewing: I did a whole LOT of sewing on the weekend!
Firstly, I got a whole heap of sewing done for my quilt show quil:

And then there was a class with an American quilter at one of our local quilt shops, and I and three other women from our local guild registered.
Basically, we had a pattern, and we made the blocks of the pattern. But since most of us were fairly experienced quilters, we only needed a couple of hints, tips, and tricks to get things going - and the competition was on to see how many blocks we could make, as a group, and individually!
I managed seven. Someone else apparently managed eight. (Yes, I am competitive. What makes you ask?)

Altogether, I believe we managed 54 blocks.

I was so tired by Sunday night that I was drowsing on my bed by 9pm and went to bed around 10. The alarm woke me at 7, otherwise who knew what time I'd have woken up this morning!
- cotton candy bingo - due 30th June
- not prime time - due 3rd July
- fic war: Steve/Maria
- fic war: Mako/Raleigh
- Marvel Bang: Maria backstory? Or Maria & Bucky?

I have no idea where you are in relation to Gloria Loughman, but I took a class with her last and it was fabulous. Can't recommend her highly enough.

We don't get many big-name-quilters over here, so it was Big News.

Ah, I'm not so much into the Modern quilting, per se. We just had a Modern quilter talk to our guild recently, but I can't remember her name.
Anyhow, yay for Big Name quilter visiting and teaching. Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun, which is the important part anyway.

They're a good 5-6 episodes! (Maybe it might be time to do a rewatch. I have a fic to write for a ficathon that's due in, hm, two weeks.)
