EXCHANGE INTERFACE

Man, it's NUTS on those communities.

So many people are not getting the concept of a "global release", getting aggro at people who are allegedly 'getting it before them', and who have no ability to comprehend the International Date Line and timezones.

Whew.

I mean, they're probably the same kind of people who struggle with the idea of the southern hemisphere celebrating Christmas in summer. It's just that there's a metric fuckton of them.

There's also a lot of rage-farming going on: people making incendiary statements about the actors and characters for likes and engagement. I guess that's fairly standard, but it's bloody frustrating.

Anyway, I won't get to watch it until late tonight at the earliest, or early tomorrow morning if I can manage to get up.

It only just occurred to me that another reason the ton rise late is because it's dark in London through the winter (the season when the ton traditionally gathered in town) until at least 9am! So, yeah, their body clocks aren't rising at the crack of whenever, but getting up in rhythm with the daylight. (Going to sleep is another matter; 'country hours' meant a dinner around sunset, once the farmers came in from the fields.)

Work has slowed down a little, we got a bunch of stuff into the testing system for that project I'm working on (due to start on the 2nd July, apparently there's actually been news articles about it), and now it's just fine-tuning the back and forths.

There's a lot of fine-tuning.

Oh, did I tell you about the chook that needed to go to the vet? We got her antibiotics and painkillers and she's been moving a lot better since the visit. She's going back tomorrow to see how everything is going (and because the vet is on a month's vacation), and the general consensus is to keep her on the antitbiotics and painkillers and unless she drops dead, we'll just carry on.

The eternal problem of whether the chooks are pets or productive. And tbh, it's mostly 'pets' right now.

Yeesh I'm tired.
