Drew against the 2nd place team: had more shots on goal than they did, but everyone tried to shoot themselves instead of passing around the goalie and the backs.
It's an old complaint of mine. Mostly because that's just how I play.
There was at least one where I was wide wide open, no defenders in reach, one of our other players had the ball and the goalie was coming out to meet her. Except rather than pass it, she aimed for the goal and the goalie kicked it back.
*sigh*
Anyway, it was a good game, we kept them on their toes, just couldn't quite get it in.

Next weekend, I'm going away to a regional game for 'older women' (35s and above) and we are playing one game Friday afternoon (after driving up in the morning), three games on Saturday between 9am to 5pm, and two games on Sunday from 8am to 1pm.
I think I'm going to be exceedingly sore on Monday.
