I don't know if it suffices for having to default, or if I have to write a NYR fic. Not that it should be difficult.
But I got something into YT Madness at least. I could also extend it out into a series. Maybe.
I was reading through my bookmarks over the last year, and someone bookmarked last year's YT fic with "made me cry in public, thanks op".
I love those bookmarks, those comments. So good!
I am at the penultimate fic for the Meeting Halfway series, which started off just after Avengers and which I have taken over a decade to complete. I haven't even actually written the final story, although I have the plans for it all laid out. Now I just have to not turn it into a 20K fic. EEK.
It ended up being a quiet day instead of the riotous social whirl and catchup that we expected it to be. But that was okay for me and B1. B1 slept pretty much the entire day. B2 was a bit disgruntled at not being able to catch up with our cousins, and the stepdad was probably disgruntled at not being able to see J, J & S (stepbro and fam), but it happens.
B1 and I called mum this evening, she rested in the afternoon (she got no sleep last night feeling bad about having possibly infected everyone else), and was feeling a lot better. I arranged to drop off some containers and pick up some of today's uneaten lunch tomorrow on my way to and from the beach, and after that...IDK. I might try to write another short fic. Or maybe 20K of one. o.O
