I tested negative by Saturday night.

Sister tested negative on PCR Sunday morning after pos on RAT Saturday night. We're going with the PCR.

Installed one financial payment system, ended up taking 2 hours longer than planned because idiots who only came in to create a security file and send it along to us changed one of the key fields which required us changing: a) the definition of the field, b) the structure of the database table, c) the programs which searched these tables.

And guess who got to do all this?

We finished at 2pm, just enough time for me to get changed and go to hockey.

I played 2 games after not playing for a month, and even then I was under the weather. But I scored in both of them! My team's game was the only goal and it was a penalty flick which came after one of the defenders blocked my on-track-for-a-goal ball with her foot. I've taken penalty flicks before, and this was no different. Team 1's game (A-grade) was a high tap in after the other wing passed it across the goal face in front of the keeper, and I angled it in. That was satisfying. Incidentally, the other goal in Team 1's game was a penalty flick, too - I didn't take it, although I offered, but another woman who was from that team and experienced at it (although she hadn't for a while) took that flick and go it in. That equalised us with about 2 minutes to go.

Unfortunately we lost both games - 1-2 in the first, 2-3 in the second. And the worst thing about the oppositions 3rd goal in Team 1's game was that it happened in the last ten seconds. They got it down there and just kept going and...

It was a weekend with a lot of substitutions. We had 3 players from Team 3 playing for us (Team 2), and three Team 2 players filling in the gaps for Team 1. Team 3 had to forfeit - they simply couldn't get enough players on the field.

This morning, I am sore all along my back and shoulders. And my feet. And my left calf muscle feels a little tender and maybe stretched. But I'm still happy with my two goals on the weekend.

This week, I'm making dessert boxes for 12 people as part of a meal donation program that is run by a local charity. They do meals on Tuesdays and Fridays, and food donations any day of the week.

I was thinking I might make a variety of slices and put them into containers, so they get a small variety of things. So far I have: brownies, butterscotch blondies, florentine slices, baklava, shortbread, choc chip cookies, and apple slice. I figure if I make at least one a day, then by Friday, I'd have a full set. And some of them I can freeze pretty easily: the brownies, blondies, and shortbread should be easy to freeze.

Permaculture meeting tonight. With rising cases, we're asking people to mask up, but might have to provide a box of masks for people who turn up without. Most people are pretty reasonable about masking, but there's always the possibility of one or two people turning up who are "this is a made-up disease and Big Pharma is out to get us and a Healthy Lifestyle is all you need"!

At least one of these types is someone whom I would consider a Rather Silly Woman.

Playing two games in one day after not playing for a month, I'm not surprised you're sore! But I'm happy you and the fam are all negative.

Me, I spent several hours doing yardwork yesterday, so my knee is not happy with me.

Congrats on your goals! Glad subsequent testing was negative. Hopefully they stay that way!
