I missed the words 'halfway to' and thought, warm? Nah. It was lovely and rainy here today in the Bay Area, but not cold. Back in Phoenix I see there's a warm spell of 24C. Glad I'm not there for it.

Not close to the ocean for your train ride, but the mountains will be pretty.
